Bold, minimal and abstract

Where do you get your inspiration from to create your art?

I am heavily inspired by the women and fashion around me. I try to encourage self confidence and help people/women feel empowered (we have some very scary mental health statistics here in NZ). I try to interpret the excitement, sadness and strong emotions we go through daily in a positive way.

Tell us something about you that has nothing to do with your art.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand and work as a graphic designer and illustrator. I recently made the leap to leave my day job and push myself away from my comfort zone to pursue my love for illustration full time. In my spare time, I love heading out for a surf in the morning and creating handmade jewellery.
