Vivid, fearless and intuitive 

Where do you get your inspiration from to create your art?

As an abstract artist my work explores colour and how intuition can influence mark-making and composition. I often take colour inspirations from ceramics or photography and although I have an idea of the colour palette for each piece, most of the creative decisions are made straight on canvas or paper. I like to make the most of living in London and visit art galleries regularly, my favourites being the Barbican, Tate and Hayward Gallery.

As well as painting, I write ideas for TV campaigns for the BBC.
